Broken covenants and challenged relationships reveal limited evidence of the role of literacy to change the world for children and families in marginalized areas. But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered. A Proverbs 11:9  faith-based deliverance project, 160,000 middle-school-aged children in Maryland school districts are reading below grade-level. Is your child one of these children? This program is designed based on the scripture Deuteronomy 6:5-7.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Many public schools are including social and emotional learning (SEL) as an integral part of their overall educational framework. Districts around the world have begun to include SEL in their missions. What is social emotional learning?  SEL skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions (CASEL).
